So, last Sunday night (11/22) we gave Soph a bath like usual and she was playing in her room after. We had a warm mist humidifier (I know, I know...you are supposed to have a cool mist one) and Sophia always wanted to play with it but we would stop her because it put off a little bit of warm steam. Well, she got to it and pulled the plastic cover off and it fell over and the hot water in the heating unit ran out onto her foot and ankle causing the burn. She screamed bloody murder and it started to blister but she calmed down pretty quick and slept good that night. The next day this is what it looked like so we took her to Dr. and got some cream. It looks a lot better but I'm still not sure if it will scar or not! What an ordeal! It's always something with a 15 month old running around !! Needless to say, the other humidifier went in the trash and we now have a cool mist one :)
